PEPP graduate & professors published in ADB’s Asian Development Review

We are delighted to announce that PEPP graduate Md. Almagir Hossain, together with PEPP professors Mohammad Abdul Malek, and Zhengfei Yu, have had a joint research paper published in the prestigious Asian Development Bank’s “Asian Development Review”*.
Entitled “Impact of Rural Credit on Household Welfare: Evidence from a Long-Term Panel in Bangladesh”, the paper examines the long-term impact of different rural credit sources—which include formal banks, quasiformal microfinance institutes, and informal channels—on household welfare indicators.
