Abstract
This seminar will review the recent performance of the Workers Party administration in Brazil (2002-2016) regarsing public policies, especially social and economic policies. It will contrast the accomplishments of those administrations with the political realities and provide an interprepation of the recent events that led to the likely impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff.
